Yam! Brands Russia may open 100 KFC outlets in 2016
MOSCOW, Oct 16 (PRIME) -- Yam! Brands Russia, which operates sandwich chain KFC in the country, plans to open at least 100 restaurants in 2016, as was the case in 2015 and 2014, CEO Oleg Pisklov told reporters on Friday.
The number of KCF outlets in Russia will stand at 440 by the end of 2015. An average investment in the opening of a new unit stands at U.S. $700,000.
“This year we will be leaders by the number of launched outlets per year at last … I am quite sure that we have a reason to open the same number of restaurants – maximally close to 100, if there is a chance to speed up, we will close more,” he said.
The company has recently entered the Belarusian market and plans to move to Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, Pisklov said.
